I am an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church.  I believe that the whole world is where the church is called to witness and to serve.  I believe the church ought to communicate the gospel in culturally specific ways.

I started blogging in 2002 with my now deceased friend, Michael Spencer, at the Boar’s Head Tavern.  I’ve had a couple of (now defunct) blogs over the years – no, this is not one of them.  I’m hoping to develop my writing here.
