Amazing Kids

This morning my father in-law read to us from Luke 2 in which Jesus’ parents brought him to the temple eight days after his birth and encountered Anna and Simeon. We all listened to him and then joined in prayer. My four year old daughter listened and prayed, too. When we arrived in church this morning, this passage happened to be the Scripture reading for the sermon. About ten minutes into the sermon my dear child turned to me and whispered, “I already knew this; Granddad told me this morning.”
I was stunned. And justifiably proud.
